Dos Pueblos learned what it needs to do to beat the No. 1 girls volleyball team in its CIF division on Saturday.
The Chargers struggled with their serve receive and serving in a 25-11, 20-25, 25-15, 25-20 non-league loss at top-ranked Harvard Westlake on Saturday.
“This is a good motivation for us to get in the gym on Monday and work harder,” DP coach Todd Garrett said. “I hope we get to play them again because I am certain we can compete harder.”
Harvard Westlake is No. 1 in the 1-AA Division while Dos Pueblos (16-3) is ranked ninth.
Garrett cited the setting of Maddie Leiphardt and the back-row play of Jordan Roberts and Katie Spieler.
