Briggs Deardorff and Kelley Drechsler put together top-5 performances on Saturday at the Palos Verdes Invitational, getting it done on a two-mile course.
“It was the hottest, hilliest, dustiest two miles you’ve ever seen,” said Dons coach Olivia Perdices.
Deardorff came in third place with a time of 10:17 and Drechsler recorded a third-place finish at 13:12.
Santa Barbara travels to Clovis on Wednesday.
