Dos Pueblos served up 13 aces en route to a sweep over San Marcos in a Channel League girls volleyball match on Thursday. The game scores were 25-14, 25-15, 25-18.
Hannah Harris and Lina Kleinshmidt recorded five and four kills, respectively, to lead the CIF 1-AA ninth-ranked Chargers, who got everyone in the match.
“Everybody played well tonight,” said DP coach Todd Garrett. “All the girls contributed to the win and it was fun to watch a total team effort.”
Maddie Leiphardt and Tristan Racich shared setting duties and dished out 15 and 13 assists, respectively.
Amanda Moriarty had seven digs, and Garrett praised the passing and defense of Kendall Vincent.
Dos Pueblos improves to 9-2 and 4-0 in the Channel League. San Marcos is 0-4 in league play.
