Cate’s No. 4 girls tennis team downed visiting Laguna Blanca 17-1 on Saturday to claim a Condor League win.
Mady Snider, Margueritte Mannix and Marina Narain swept nine sets in singles for the Rams, who improve to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in league.
“We couldn’t have been happier with our performance today on both the singles and doubles court,” said Rams coach Barbara DeGroot. “Our girls displayed great concentration and competitiveness.”
Nikita Kokal and Lela Puckett teamed up in doubles and won three sets without a loss for the day.
Cate plays two non-league matches this week, starting on Wednesday with San Marcos and finishing on Saturday against Pasadena Poly.
