City College spent more time on the road than in the gym Saturday as it swept Imperial Valley in a nonconference women’s volleyball match.
After driving five hours to the match in El Centro, the Vaqueros made quick work of their opponents, winning 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.
Allyson Porter recorded 10kills and Jen Waddill added 10 to pace the offense. Hillary Tomas and Piper Obradovich each had 10 digs.
SBCC (3-3) hits the road again Tuesday at Santa Monica.
