He engineered three TD drives in the last 7:32, covering 66, 70 and 84 yards.
Shipley, a sophomore linebacker from San Marcos High, made a career-best 18 tackles, including six solo. Three of the tackles were for losses and he also had two quarterback hurries.
Shipley leads the state in tackles with 41. Manny Hernandez, another San Marcos High product, is third with 37.
The Vaqueros (1-2) will complete their nonconference slate on Saturday with a 6 p.m. game at Moorpark (1-2). The Raiders lead the all-time series 23-14-2 and this will be the first meeting between the schools since 2006 when Moorpark won 37-20
