Allyson Porter recorded 15 kills and 22 digs Friday night as SBCC rallied to beat Saddleback 3-1 in the first round of the L.A. Pierce women’s volleyball tournament in Woodland Hills.
Antonia Antes had 13 kills and hit .387 in the 20-25, 28-26, 25-21, 25-18 triumph. It was the sixth straight win for the Vaqueros (8-3), who are ranked 18th in the state.
Nicole Bergmann added eight kills while Kelsey Soos had four aces and 45 assists. Danielle Stewart made 17 digs and Piper Obradovich had nine.
The Vaqueros will take on No. 5 Pasadena in the semifinals on Saturday at 11 a.m.
