Santa Barbara High’s girls golf team recorded a season low on Wednesday at Santa Barbara Golf Club, clearing Pacifica 238-329 in a non-conference match.
Olivia Fanaro and Haley True were co-medalists with matching 44s to lead the Dons, who play again on Thursday against Oaks Christian and Oxnard at Montecito Country Club.
Sophomore Saralisa Ortega carded a season-low 47 while Kylie Wagner (50) and Sarah Kirkwood (53) rounded out Santa Barbara’s scoring.
It was also the Dons’ season low as a team, although head coach Ryan Throop said they weren’t completely satisfied yet knowing scores would have to be lower once Channel League play begins.
