UCSB gets in the Fiesta spirit

The Gauchos are joining the Fiesta fun.

UCSB Athletics has a booth at El Mercado del Norte in Mackenzie Park during Santa Barbara’s Old Spanish Days. Fans can meet members of the men’s and women’s soccer teams, purchase soccer season tickets, pick up free posters and visit with Gaucho mascot Olé.

The booth will be open from 11 a.m until 7 p.m Wednesday through Saturday. Check UCSB’s official Facebook and Twitter sites for the latest information on appearance times and autograph sessions with the Gauchos.

Season tickets for the soccer season are now on sale. All season ticket packages include tickets to the 2010 NCAA Men’s College Cup, the national semifinals and final, on Dec.10-12.

Among the season ticket packages is the Family Plan. For just $175, families will get two adult tickets and three youth tickets to all men’s and women’s regular season home games, and two College Cup all-session tickets. All kids tickets will also include a free membership in GKids, UCSB Athletics’ kid’s club.

Individual season tickets start at just $75 and include one ticket to all home men and women’s regular season games and one College Cup All Session ticket.

Also, for each season ticket purchased before the men’s Sept. 7 match against Creighton, the buyer will receive the exclusive season ticket holder Soccer Heaven scarf.
