Kyle Ownsby led the Goleta Valley South Little League 10/11 year-old All-Star squad to a 7-1 victory over Dos Pueblos last week, qualifying the team for Wednesday’s Championship Game of the District 63 Tournament.
Ownsby held a shutout for five innings with two strikeouts, two walks and four hits allowed. Trey Klopstein led GVSLL with two hits and Sammy Roberts and a two-run single in the fifth inning add to the GVSLL lead. GVSLL made no errors in the game.
Austin Bull hit a solo home run in the 6th inning for DPLL.
