Dos Pueblos High junior softball pitcher Hannah Harris is having a busy summer with her club team, the SoCal Jets U18 based in Westlake. The team recent traveled to the Colorado Sparkler 18U Showcase to play in front of hundreds of college scouts.
The Jets won, the whole darn thing, beating a field of 120 teams. Harris pitched in six games, aloowing just four earned runs while striking out 25 batters. She also participated in a skills camp where she was ranked in the top two-percent of pitching and running from a group of 150 pitchers and 590 All-Star Players.
This past weekend, the Jets won a National Qualifier in Banning by going 4-0. Hannah pitched in two of the games, including the championship, and threw one-hitters in both of them. The Nationals are held in early August.
