Isaac Rodriguez homered and drove in six runs to spark the Dos Pueblos Little League Junior All-Stars to a 16-1 romp over Thousand Oaks in the opener of the Section 1 Tournament on Saturday in Oxnard.
Rodriguez, who had three hits in the game, also pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing five hits and the only Thousand Oaks run.
Dylan Rohde and Brody Curtis finished out the game on the mound.
Rohde had a productive day at the plate, too, with two hits, three RBIs and three runs scored. Daniel Dzierski and Brian Cho each had two hits and scored three times.
Dos Pueblos is back in action Sunday against Nipomo at Channel Islands High in Oxnard.
