Nolan Soto struck out the final batter with the tying run on base in the seventh inning to give the Dos Pueblos Little League Junior Division All-Stars a 5-3 victory over Saticoy for the District 63 championship on Sunday at Girsh Park.
Dos Pueblos advances to the sectional tournament on Saturday, July 17 at Hueneme High in Oxnard.
Soto relieved starter Dylan Rohde, who went 6 2/3 innings, allowing six hits while striking out six.
Rohde helped himself at the plate with three hits, including a home run, two stolen bases and three runs scored.
Brian Cho had two hits, Isaac Rodriguez drove in two runs and Daniel Dzierski stole two bases and scored twice.
Saticoy forced a second championship game after handing DP its first loss on Saturday.
The rest of the DP roster includes Alez Amaro, Brody Curtis, James Savage, Joshua Tedeschi, Drake Gilliland and Robert Gulvin.
