The Arlington Theater will not be showing the World Cup soccer semifinal matches on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Theater manager Karen Killingsworth said a time conflict with a movie showtime prevents the historic venue from showing the games Netherlands vs. Uruguay on Tuesday and Spain against Germany on Wednesday. Both games are at 11:30 a.m. and the theater’s first showing of the film, “The Last Airbender 3D,” is at 1:15 p.m.
The Arlington, however, is committed to show the World Cup final live on its big screen on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
There is no admission charge.
