Stewart Reid won the 1-mile ocean swim for the fourth time this season in the weekly Santa Barbara Reef and Run Series at East Beach on Tuesday afternoon.
Stewart, 37, finished his swim in the choppy water in 24 minutes, 2 seconds.
In the 1-kilometer swim, Jon Lewis, 56, of Carpinteria came in first place in 23:28.
Greg Husak, after winning the last two 4-mile runs in the series, took the 2-mile run in 11:28.
The 4-mile run was won by Jennifer Beckerman in 27:01
Geoff Gray captured the duathlon in 41:46. He did the 1-k swim in 26:56 and the 2-mile run in 14:51. Trevor Kosmo, a former Dos Pueblos High swimming star, finished second in 42:03 and Isabel Dickinson took third in 42:22.
