Laguna Blanca senior Bryson Alef placed second in the 100 breaststroke at the CIF Division IV swimming prelims on Tuesday at Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool in Long Beach, and will take the second seed into Thursday’s finals. He is also swimming in the finals of the 100 freestyle.
Sophomore Lauren Alef swam a personal best in the 1oo butterfly to make the B finals, while Milo Filip was second in the 500 freestyle to qualify and will also swim in the B finals of the 200 free.
