The Toads of Thacher picked up a thrilling overtime win against rival Cate, 11-10, on Wednesday in a Condor League matchup in Ojai. Thacher senior Casey Wyman scored the game-tying goal in the last minute of the fourth quarter, and teammate Will Waste buried another goal 25 seconds into overtime to seal the victory.
Wyman, a Santa Barbara resident who will play at Chapman next season, finished with two goals and an assist, while Cate’s Mackie Greason scored three goals with two assists. Waste had five goals and an assist.
