The third installment of Santa Barbara’s Reef and Run Series concluded Tuesday on a windy evening at East Beach.
Notably, the top two finishers in the duathalon ended the race within two and a half minutes of each other. Jerry Jackintell, 48, took first with a time of 41:09.
The two mile run finishers were spaced a little further apart with the first place winner, Ryan Wenger, ending the race with a 5:21 mile pace.
Amy Steets took first in the four mile run with a time of 20:04. Two other females also finished in the top five.
Stewart Reid, 37, took first in the one mile swim and Neil Wood, 41, was the champ of the one kilometer swim.
