Cate’s boys tennis team put the finishing touches on an undefeated league season on Wednesday, branding Thacher with an 11-7 Condor League loss.
The Rams, ranked No. 5 in CIF Division IV, have won six straight league championships.
Cate’s success in doubles was the difference in the match as the Rams took in eight of the nine sets.
Ahmed Bou-Rabee and Jason Park swept three sets while the teams of Blake Mackall/Gregory Mak and Mark Mullan/Rohit Gotswamy won two sets each without a loss. Austin Lokre won two of his three sets in singles to help put Cate over the top.
The Rams wrap up their regular season schedule on Friday with a home match against San Marcos.
