Parker Lilly had nine kills, eight digs and two blocks on Friday as the Laguna Blanca boys volleyball team clinched a share of the Condor League title with Cate thanks to a 25-23, 25-10, 25-23 win over Dunn on Senior Night.
Pascal Karam had seven kills, five digs and a block while senior Ben Abrams added seven kills and a block. Assistant coach Dillan Bennett also noted the leadership of setter Spencer Dusebout, adding that he had four aces.
The Owls (9-5, 5-1) lost the coinflip and will take the second seed out of the league into the CIF playoffs.
“It will likely be an away game against a tough team, but we’re getting better and better every practice and I don’t expect that to change,” said Bennett.
Chris Bremner and Dawson Ingersoll were the other seniors honored aside from Abrams.
