Oaks Christian’s Radke getting no-hit habit

As if one wasn’t enough, Oaks Christian’s Travis Radke tallied his second no-hitter in two weeks on Friday, dominating Carpinteria in a 6-0 Tri-Valley League victory for the Lions.

The Lions’ junior left-hander struck out 15 Warriors while walking only one batter to improve to 7-1 on the season. Radke no-hit Fillmore two Fridays ago in a 10-0 decision.

“He really does a nice job of keeping batters off balance,” said Carpinteria head coach Pat Cooney.

Radke kept the Lions undefeated in league at 10-0 while the Warriors finish their league schedule a week early with a 5-7 record.

Drew Hacker provided the offense for Oaks, knocking a double and a 2-run home run.
