Cate freshman Alexis Hill scored five times for the Rams on Thursday, taking Cate’s girls lacrosse team into the CIF quarterfinals with a 12-8 victory over Peninsula.
The third-seeded Rams will host seventh-seeded Palisades Charter School, which upset No. 2 La Canada, on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Annie Weis added four goals and an assist to Cate’s attack while goalkeeper Alexx Temena recorded 17 saves.
