Cate’s girls lacrosse team won another playoff game on Saturday, edging Palisades Charter 11-10 to advance to the CIF Northern Division final.
Senior Stephanie Ruys de Perez tallied seven goals for Cate and Annie Weis accounted for three more to lead the Rams. Emily Nguyen scored once.
The two teams were very evenly matched, as the score differential was never more than two. Palisades forced five ties in the game but could never take the lead.
Alexx Temena recorded seven saves in goal for the Rams, who move on to face Redondo in the final on Tuesday in Canoga Park.
