Alex Warner shot a 103 at Montecito Country Club to lead Carpinteria’s boys golf team in a 507-532 loss to visiting Santa Paula at Montecito Country Club on Wednesday. Freshman Justin Sinclair fired a 106, his best score of the year. He is a first-year golfer.
“They beat us by 59 strokes the last time. I’m very proud of these kids and how much they’re improving,” said coach Steve Benzin.
