A loss in Tuesday’s third set didn’t stop Dos Pueblos’ boys volleyball team from staying unbeaten in the Channel League, as the Chargers went on to pocket a 25-15, 25-22, 18-25, 25-10 victory against Ventura.
The Chargers improve to 5-0 in league, with Santa Barbara next on the list for next Tuesday. First, Dos Pueblos (15-7) takes on non-league opponent San Luis Obispo on Wednesday.
There were three Chargers who stood out on the court Tuesday, with Will McCracken’s 18 kills playing the largest role. Libero Cole Arutian popped up 10 digs and tallied a pair of aces while Preston Mullan came off the bench to contribute five kills on seven attempts.
