Cate and Laguna Blanca combined for 32 goals in Wednesday’s Condor league girls lacrosse match, with Cate accounting for a few more in a 22-10 decision.
The victory improves Cate’s league record to 3-1 and 5-5 overall.
Rams assistant coach Linda Sommers said Emily Nguyen was awarded the “game ball” for her play, notably her domination of the midfield. Nguyen also had three goals and an assist.
Senior attacker Steph Ruys de Perez capitalized on Nguyen’s work, leading Cate in scoring once again with six goals and three assists. Alexis Hill added five goals and Annie Weis four for the Rams.
