Santa Barbara’s swim teams captured their final Channel League meets of the season, topping San Marcos in the Royals’ pool, which will be the site for next week’s Channel League Championships.
The girls competition was much closer than the boys as the Dons girls outlasted the Royas 104-79 while the boys meet ended 141-43.
Camille Wissman and Kelsey O’Brien won two events for Santa Barbara and Sophie Trabucco was first in the 500-meter freestyle, second in the 200-free.
San Marcos’ Flo Chardon raced to a victory in the 50-meter freestyle and a second in the 100. Ashley Wagner won another event for the Royals in the 100 backstroke.
On the boys side, Zach Sklar, Karl Boscacci and freshman Cristian Bridley were double winners.
The Dons won the diving competition on both sides thanks to Montana Marshall and Aiden McCarter.
It’s Channel League Championship week coming up with Prelims beginning on Tuesday at San Marcos.
