SBCC’s Amy Sagraves and Meghan Schaefer lost in the Round of 16 on Friday in the Southern Cal Regional women’s tennis tournament at Long Beach City College. They fell to the fifth-seeded doubles duo, Tina Vuong-Natalie Loria of Irvine Valley, 6-3, 6-1.
The Vaquero women (10-3) enjoyed an outstanding season, with seven more wins that the previous year, a a second-place finish in the WSC (8-2) and an appearance in the Southern Cal Regional team playoffs.
