Cate’s girls lacrosse team took the long trip to Pasadena on Wednesday but did not come back to Carpinteria empty-handed, instead holding a 14-3 victory over Westridge.
Senior Steph Ruys de Perez set the tone for the Rams, tallying game-highs in goals and assists with four and three, respectively. Annie Weis found the back of the net three times and added an assist. Junior Kate Groetzinger also made her presence felt, collecting two goals and an assist.
Paige Miller, Abby Killea, Lisa Huang, Alexis Hill and Eliza Giles also scored for Cate, which is now 3-4 overall and 1-1 in the Condor League. Next up for the Rams is a Saturday clash with rival Thacher.
