Cate’s day turned from good to bad on Saturday, as the Rams opened up a 6-1 lead only to eventually lose 10-9 to Oak Park in overtime.
The Rams scored six goals in the first quarter but the Eagles were able to draw even at 7-7 in the fourth quarter.
Freshman Wes Greason and senior Mackie Greason combined to account for all of Cate’s offensive output. Wes scored seven times and assisted on both of Mackie’s goals, while Mackie recorded all seven assists for Wes.
The Rams play twice this week, starting with Viewpoint on Wednesday before hosting Thacher on Saturday afternoon at Cate.
