No. 10 Rams down sixth-ranked Dunn, 14-4

It’s safe to say there will be a shuffle in the CIF Division IV boys tennis rankings after 10th-ranked Cate cruised past host No. 6 Dunn 14-4 on Tuesday.

Austin Lokre and Cam Seo each went 3-0 in singles for the Rams (4-3, 2-0), while Rohit Goswamy teamed with both Gregory Mak and Omar Kurshid to go 3-0 in doubles. Mark Mullan also went 3-0 in doubles while playing with Adam Turner for two sets and Phil Pomeran for one.

“It was a pretty well-played match. Dunn has an evenly balanced team, but just not quite as much depth,” said Cate coach Bob Bonning, who noted that his players were impressive in eating some king-sized burritos on the way home.

The Rams host Pasadena Poly on Saturday.
