Landon Hunt tossed a four-hitter with 13 strikeouts Thursday and Moorpark rallied for a 3-2 baseball victory over SBCC.
It was the third straight loss for the visiting Vaqueros (17-12, 7-6), who remained in third place in the WSC North. Oxnard leads the pack at 10-3, followed by Hancock at 9-4.
Daniel Howell knocked in a run for Santa Barbara with an RBI double and Abe Ruiz made it 2-0 in the sixth when he drove in Danny Cavaletto with a single. Moorpark (9-18-1, 2-11) scored all three runs in the seventh.
Zach Edgington pitched 6 1/3 innings for the Vaqueros, allowing three runs on five hits with eight strikeouts and four walks.
