Parker Lilly had 14 sets come his way on Thursday, and he put down 10 of them for kills with no errors as the Laguna Blanca boys volleyball team cruised past Ojai Valley School 25-9, 25-14, 25-8.
Jack Stegall tallied six kills on 12 attempts and JT Aubery had four aces with eight digs.
“It was a great game for Parker. He attacked every ball aggressively and there was no tipping,” said assistant coach Dillan Bennett. “We used this game as a little bit of a springboard for the playoffs.”
Laguna Blanca (8-5, 6-1) will clinch at least a tie for the Condor League championship with a win over Dunn on Friday.
