Ojai Valley School didn’t have enough to stop Condor League-leading Cate on Tuesday, falling to the Rams for the second time this season in a 25-8, 25-16, 25-20 decision in Ojai.
Joe Gottwald was Cate’s most effective weapon, tallying 12 kills on 19 attempts. Stu Engs was in the fray with nine kills.
Cate improves to 4-1 in league and has three matches left on its regular season schedule. The Rams face Cornerstone Christian on Wednesday, Mission Prep on Friday and Dunn next week.
