Cate’s boys volleyball team breezed to a 25-15, 25-8, 25-16 Condor League victory on Friday, badgering Cornerstone Christian without relief as the Rams remained undefeated in league play.
Joe Gottwald had a monster game for Cate. Gottwald tallied 19 kills on 22 attempts, good for an impressive .775 hitting percentage. The senior added 22 digs and four aces to carry the Rams. Michael Castenda was big at the net, recording four blocks.
Cate stands at 3-0 in league and 5-3 overall.
