Carpinteria’s five hits were accompanied by five errors on Thursday in a 4-1 loss to Fillmore.
“Any time you have five errors against a quality team like Fillmore, it’s gonna be difficult to overcome,” said coach Henry Gonzales.
The Warriors (6-2) play at Channel Islands on Wednesday.
