Dos Pueblos’ baseball team doused the red-hot Santa Barbara Dons baseball team last week, ending its 11-game win streak as well as knocking it from the CIF Division II rankings.
The Chargers threw a wet blanket on the Dons’ recent success, sweeping Santa Barbara in a two-game Channel League series before the Dons rebounded with a 6-5 victory over Granada Hills. Santa Barbara (16-3-1) remained in the L.A. Times Southland 25, however, dropping from No. 12 to No. 18.
