Dos Pueblos’ final warm-up match before this weekend’s Tournament of Champions went smoothly enough as the Chargers collected a 25-12, 25-14, 25-23 non-league victory over Santa Ynez on Wednesday night.
Robbie Mestas tallied nine kills and only two hitting errors while Will McCracken recorded a team-high four blocks. Preston Mullan collected three kills and two blocks alongside Wade Robertson’s two aces and five digs.
The Chargers (12-5) play Thousand Oaks in Friday’s Tournament of Champions opener at 12:45 p.m.
