Dos Pueblos’ boys volleyball team didn’t stick around long even though it was Senior Night, crushing Buena 25-13, 25-21, 25-12 for a Channel League win on Thursday.
Will McCracken led the Chargers in kills with nine and Robbie Mestas added five more and Rory Van Winkle four. McCracken and Van Winkle were also effective at the service line as McCracken racked up four aces and Van Winkle two.
Chargers libero Cole Arutian played some in the front row, collecting a kill, a block and an ace.
Dos Pueblos (17-8) faces San Marcos in its Channel League finale on Tuesday. A win would clinch at least a share of a league championship for the Chargers.
