“It was a sloppy win, but we’ll take it,” said Bishop Diego volleyball coach Joe Reiken of his team’s 25-17, 25-12, 25-19 win over Fillmore on Thursday.
Johnny Brand had 15 kills and Brandon Gonzalez dished out 34 assists for the Cardinals (2-6, 2-3 TVL). Spencer Shull chipped in nine kills.
“We’re getting there. The W is good for us, and it’s a nice way to head into spring break,” said Reiken.
