Santa Barbara High maintained it No. 4 ranking in boys tennis on Monday as the season’s second set of CIF polls were released on Monday along with other spring sports.
Dos Pueblos joined Santa Barbara in the Division I rankings for the first time, claiming the No. 8 position. The Chargers were 2-0 last week and have won three straight since a loss to the Dons on St. Patrick’s Day.
The Dons posted a 12-6 victory over Ventura last week followed by a 12-6 non-league win on Wednesday at No. 5 Harvard-Westlake.
Cate dropped from No. 4 in Division IV to No. 10 even though it won three matches last week, including victories over San Marcos, San Luis Obispo and Laguna Blanca.
South Coast schools were absent in the baseball, softball and boys volleyball polls.
