SBCC swept all six singles on Tuesday at Pershing Park en route to an 8-1 men’s tennis victory over Los Angeles Pierce.
Nikolay Ivanov, Alex Zazove and Regis Fastrez won their matches in straight sets at 1, 2 and 3 for the Vaqueros (4-3), who remained perfect in WSC play with a 3-0 record. It was their first match in 11 days but they showed no rust.
“Everything went smoothly,” said SBCC coach Ryan Heinberg. “This team has a lot of potential.”
The Vaqueros return to action on March 16 with a home match against Glendale.
