Steph Ruys de Perez scored no few than eight goals on Wednesday, leading Cate’s girls lacrosse team to a 17-5 victory over Laguna Blanca.
It was the Condor League opener for the Rams(2-2, 1-0), who just returned from Spring Break.

Freshman Alexis Hill recorded a hat trick for Cate, which took a 10-2 halftime lead. Six Rams scored on the day.
“I was proud of how many girls scored today,” Ruys de Perez said.
Hillary Williamson tallied a team-high three goals for Laguna Blanca while Izzy Greer scored the Owls’ other two goals.
