Ian McFarlane had eight kills and five solo blocks as the San Marcos boys volleyball team picked up at sweep at Buena on Tuesday. Game scores were 25-17, 25-15, 25-21.
“I was real pleased with Ian in the middle. He was connecting real well with our setter, Neil Holliday, and our other middle Josh Guild was too,” said coach Roger Kuntz.
Jackson Kumz led the Royals (7-3, 1-1 Channel League) with 13 kills while Johnny Manzo added 10.
“I think that we took care of our side of the net real well,” said Kuntz.
