Cate’s boys lacrosse team pitched a shutout on Wednesday, blanking visiting Midland 11-0 for a Condor League victory.
Mackie Greason and Randy Person were the biggest culprits, scoring three goals apiece. Four Rams, Wes Greason, Conner Ingram, Harry Gruner and Michael Hassman, recorded a goal and an assist. Cormac O’Connor posted Cate’s other goal.
Cate earned its second victory of the season by defeating Midland 11-0 on Wednesday.

Cate (2-0) hosts longtime rival Robert Lewis Stephenson on Saturday int he season’s first true test.
