Anthony Pell shot an 83 while Jun Huh and Scott Grimes were just one shot behind as the Bishop Diego boys golf team picked up a dominant 429-553 win over Fillmore at Rancho San Marcos on Tuesday. Garrett Garcia turned in an 87 and Hayden Slaught shot 91.
“Our guys played great. There were ideal conditions for scoring and the players took advantage of the weather,” said coach Marty Herrera. “We should be peaking as we head into the teeth of league play.”
