First-year player Ben Abrams had five kills for the Laguna Blanca boys volleyball team in a 25-12, 25-6, 25-12 domination of visiting Cornerstone Christian on Wednesday.
Pascal Karam had four kills with three digs and Parker Lilly had four kills with a pair of blocks.
Jack Stegall also put away four kills in the match, which was over in an hour.
“We’re thin in ranks but we have a lot of potential,” said coach Bobby Sanchez, who is in his 40th season of coaching volleyball. “Everyone who played last year has elevated their game this year, and we have good chemistry.”
Sanchez also said that the addition of assistant coach Dillan Bennett, a Dos Pueblos alumnus, has provided a big boost.
