Santa Barbara High boys water polo star Brendan Kerwin-McElroy made his college choice official on Saturday by signing with UCSB.
Kerwin-McElroy led the Dons in goals (85), assists (58), steals (52) and field blocks (22) in his senior year at Santa Barbara and was a 3-time All-Channel League pick. He was also a Division I All-CIF selection twice. Two other Santa Barbara Water Polo Club players — Righetti’s Matt Johnson and Rio Mesa’s Nick Tomasello — have also signed with the Gauchos.
