Dos Pueblos and Cate were interrupted by rain on Wednesday, but not in time to save the Rams from an abbreviated 10-2 non-league loss to the Chargers.
Sasha Gryaznov and Austin Cano held up DP’s singles side by sweeping two sets each as did the doubles team of Malcolm Sutton/Christian Edstrom.
Rohit Goswamy took a set in singles for Cate, which has fallen to two Channel League schools in its first two matches. Gregory Mak and Austin Lokre paired in doubles to win the Rams’ other set.
Robert Laskin won two sets in doubles with two different partners for the Chargers (1-1). Andy Silverstein and Sean Handley shared Laskin’s services.
Dos Pueblos wraps up its season-opening week with a Friday match with San Luis Obispo.
