Dos Pueblos breezed into spring break with a 25-21, 25-18, 25-13 sweep at Buena on Thursday night, moving to 3-0 in Channel League play.
Chargers head coach Chris Hughes singled out Rory Van Wickle for his six kills and steady play at the service line. Preston Mullan also received his coach’s compliments for his eight kills on 10 attempts. Matt Sims recorded five kills.
“It was a nice overall win for us. It was a good, fun match,” said Hughes, whose team is 8-5 overall.
DP takes two weeks off from competition for the break.
